The first semester of IME 2019/2020 is completed! This semester all 16 students have worked very hard at various case competitions, classes and the consultations and project presentations for the Interfaith Food Bank.
During the first week of December, the four IME teams presented 4 great fundraising project ideas, A curling bonspiel and silent auction, a gala with a raffle, a dinner night and craft beer competition, and a bus pull event . All presentations can be found on our Facebook page (link found on homepage). It was a tough choice for the board members, with each presentation being so thoroughly planned out, and great potential for each, but we are pleased to announce that the winning fundraiser was the curling bonspiel and silent auction! During this next semester the IME cohort will be working in various teams to plan out a fun day of curling.
The IME team would also like to remind those reading this to remember the less fortunate this holiday season and if possible donate however you can, whether it’s food, money or your time in volunteering, to the Interfaith Food Bank.
